I used Mobil 1 Synthetic and it seemed to smoot things out nicely in the RB25 transmission.

I have also heard nothing but good things about Redline from my friends with supras. I just couldn't find anyone that carried it locally. Autozone has the Mobil 1.

i was just wondering is the flywheel the same type of setup as a 300zx n/a right. Well they don't have a step in them only the TT's do. So does the rb20 need to have a step if it is the same as a n/a?

OEM Nissan transmission fluid is 80w90 and that is what is recommended by nissan, but I have heard from a million(not really a million but alot) of skyline owners that Redline is the bomb and get it if you can cuz it works really well, personally I used some 80w90, dont remember the brand, but redline seems to be good stuff from what I hear from them. They like that Redline shockproof stuff or whatever it is. Also I wouldn't recommend running a synthetic oil in my transmission, for one because of viscousity breakdown and stuff and also its to lightweight.

i used a clutch for the 300zx NA and it worked fine on my rb20 flywheel, one of the alingment dowels was off by about 1/5th an inch but all the bolt holes lined up perfect.

hope that helps, sounds like what you are asking.
