Flywheel bolt broke

My friend was mating my flywheel to my SR block last night and he broke a flywheel bolt.

There are 8 bolts in all so how big of a problem is it? I figure the other 7 will do just fine, and the way the bolt broke it still has some threads in the flywheel.

well got it out no prob, just need to get a thread repair kit.

i suggest getting 4.6L flywheel bolts from a Mustang. Summit Racing sells ARP bolts for $45-50 shipped. its still a 12-point bolt, but the head size i believe is 5/8".

always better to be safe than sorry, and hey, upgrade while the transmission is out!

im kinda in a situation where I need a car so I need to get some stat. I might try the mustang **** though I had not heard anything about that.
