Fidanza makes a great streetable lightweight flywheel. I have one and love it. Just search on NICO for "Fidanza".

Well i JUST put a Fidanza flywheel in my car, finished putting it back together yesterday, and adjusted the clutch pedal today. WOW what a difference. Starts up quicker, revs quicker, just feels like a whole different car. When you look, look for weight (light = quicker revs) and material. Ive seen some fully steel ones that weight like 16 pounds, but you cant machine the friction area, the Fidanza has a replaceable friction area. IMO Fidanza = BEST choice for flywheel.

Also, be sure to change your rear main seal at the same time. Even if its not leaking, its probably old and is great insurance. Get the factory seal too, i had a CHEAP seal that came with my rebuild kit, didnt last 3 years.

i have one on my 93 240 and it's great. i can't comment on a stock one though, since the car came with it and a stage 3 clutch specialties clutch (takes a little getting used to) the guy i bought the car from was planning on a turbo, he said the clutch should handle 400 horse!

it revs great and from what i hear opens up the top end well, i haven't heard anything bad about them yet!

i was amazed at the top end of the car (i have seen dyno sheets that show hp dropping off at 5500rpm), it feels like there is good power all the way to 6500rpm. i won't take it past that though (long stroke, could be a bad idea), plus you don't need to with all the torque the ka produces. i love this car!

i was worried going from a car with 135 torque and 115 hp (2001 chevy cavalier), that the 240 wouldn't have the low end grunt, but it does!

so to follow up, get that fidanza flywheel!
