I have a 2004 G35 coupe with a few mods, to mention the ones that pertain to what we are talking about is the Injen CAI, Kinetix Intake Manifold, Megan Racing long tube headers (no cats), and ARK Grip true duals. Since my mods I have noticed a very annoying fluttering sound coming from the car. I got the car smoked to see if I had an exhaust leak and nothing. The fluttering sound only comes when I decelerate. I wonder if this has anything to do with the CAI. I noticed a few of you talk about resonance from true cold air intakes…I wonder if I should take that bottom tube off and convert to a short ram? Maybe the noise has always been there but I’m just now noticing it because the headers with x-pipe and exhaust are amplifying the sound? Any input would be great anyone else ever come across this issue? Thanks in advance, the noise is driving me crazy...

No, but I did visually inspect it to make sure it was tight all and all pretty normal looking as far as dirtyness.
