Flutter noise

Hello all!
I have noticed a flutter sound coming from the engine area while driving. It seems to only occur while applying the gas pedal. Once I let off the gas, the noise goes away. I re-apply the gas pedal, it returns. Not all the time, but quite often latetly. Anyone experienced this?

Funny I just started getting the same thing yesterday. Today I started hearing it again and when coming to a stop my oil light would flash on. I checked my dipstick and oil was all the way at the top of it (way past the Full mark)?

wow...I had the same thing occur. The oil light came on very briefly, typically at stops. I added about 1/2 quart and the noise went away, and the light stayed off. Until tonight, I noticed the brief light again. I don't have the noise , at least not yet!!

OK, quick update.

I thought it may be my belts so I checked and sure enough the smaller of the 2 was cracked pretty bad. So replaced both of them. Still had the noise though. My next stop was for an oil change. That took care of the noise. It had been 5K miles since my last oil change so I don't think I'll go that long again.
