Flutter From Engine Bay

Hey quick question, I have a 97' 240Sx with about 70K miles on it. Sometime when I accelerate there's a sound that comes from the engine bay. It sounds like a flutter or when a small passenger plane's propellor is winding down. I'm not at WOT, probably accelerating moderately not hitting anything over 3500 RPM. I can't figure out what he sound is. The fan is broken? Loose? The timing chain? Anyone ever experience this? It doesn't happen all the time to, only sometimes, and it's not particular to a particular timeframe (i.e. when I first start the car in the morning, or when the car is driven and started again)...

sounds like the radiator fan?
