Barely a week after I bought my car I went ahead and got rims/tires for a great deal. The next week I dropped my v. I'm really a fan of the flushed look however. With my experiences with my brother's Scion XB the flushed look is awesome. Although the rims I bought looked great on the V, I wasn't satisfied. i know I would have to drop the car a lil bit more, but the issue was my rims.

It was because I thought it wasn't flushed enough.....the rims I got were 17x7 with I believe a +38 offset. At first I was considering using spacers but now i'm seriously considering selling my rims to get 17x9's. Is anyone here rocking 17x9 rims with about the same offset or something crazier? If so how's the ride?

Check out the tire/wheel databse we have on this forum. I'm pretty sure you'll find something there.

Probably no one with 9" wheels, basically they would be usless on a Versa. 8" would be the biggest needed or stay with a 7-7.5" with less offset.

Also its "flush", not "flushed" (makes it sound like toilet bowl).

Do you know how much gas it would suck to roll wheels 9" wide?

Haha I figured it was flush....But yeah so far after much consultation 8 was the highest I was recommended to go. Makes sense. There's this place that sells used wheels where I could probably get a test fitment on some 17x8's or 7's with +35 or less. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Thanks fellas...more feedback is welcome...

Unless your planning on running a fender flare or seriously rolling and pulling the fenders, a 9" will not sit flush. Last summer I had test fitted one of my Hanabi's from my 240 on my wife's Versa. These are 17x9+20, undecided if they would look ok if the car were lowered on coils.

I posted these pics again for two reasons. One being that Biggie stated the no one was doing this size wheel on the Versa. The other to show the OP that this size wheel will not achieve flushness. Furthermore, it shows that the OP did not use the search function because if correctly searched, those other posts do show up. Just trying to help the OP be aware of what they will be getting into if they do purchase that size, or to help them from wasting their money. That ok?

i meant no offence by it, i just thought i was funny you had to continually post them because people cant seem to click the giant flashing search button.btw that would look bada55 with some giant carbon flares like you mentioned before

Okay okay, I'll have to admit, I didn't use the Search function thoroughly....I'm a noob when it comes to forums, so I didn't utilize the extra options....but I did find the og thread thank you.

Thank you jspec for the help tho, the pics and the info were extremely helpful. I would love to see pics with it dropped if you decide to go through with it, I like the old school look too and fender flares are definitely a plus with those 17x9" wheels. Ideally, I wish I had coilovers....(things are lookin up tho, they lowered the price of the tanabe coils!) and a wider stance w/ wider wheels, but since I just got my wheels and springs I'm gonna chill for now.

One more thing...hey jspec (or anyone) I've never installed fender flares, and I looked around in the forum and saw some chops by bullldog and flares that came w/kits, were you planning on putting on custom or universal fender flares? I know you were plannin on puttin on carbon fiber fender flares. As far as I know there isn't much bolt-on fender flares for the versa.

i see youve got sportmax now so youre youre not looking for expensive wheels

little more expensive than them, but i seriously want to see somebody try 17x8 +35 fn01rc's, i think theyd be your best shot...but itll need lowering and everything of course

Not trying to nit-pick but if you could care less that means you do care. I believe you meant i couldn't care less because that would mean you're at the absolute bottom of caring and you dont care at all. Lol just thought you should know.

Those were actually in consideration before I bought the sportmax 962's. I like 5zigen's wheels also. What happened was a friend introduced me to a friend of his, who happened to be selling his wheels which originally came from his girlfriend's honda fit. They were a great deal, great size, and lookd great, so I got 'em. By doing that I could afford to get springs also.

I think the gram lights that t19uz had on this site we're pretty close to the fn01rc's tho, although I don't recall him stating the exact size of his wheels, i just know that they're 18's...

Eventually I want to end up with coils and VOLK GTU'S....i don't care about even putting them on the versa haha those wheels are just sweeeeeet!!!*sigh
