Flush is how even the outside of the wheel/tire is with the outside wall of the car.

Stance is a very general term of how a suspension set up would look like. It involve ride height, wheel wide, widebody kits etc ...

Flush is a stance, where the lip of your rim "kiss" the fender.

Flush and stance are pretty subjective terms, but you just know when it looks right. But generally speaking, 'flush' is when your wheels are flush or even with your fenders.

It's worth mentioning though, that there are two schools of thinking in terms of flush fitment. There's wheel flush - where the wheel is flush with the fender and the tires are stretched to get the wheels/fenders as close as possible. And theres also tire flush - where your tires are even with the fenders, moreso than the wheel itself. I like a healthy balance of both... a very subtle stretch of meaty tires...

Also, some ppl like their setup to poke out a little bit. That's generally referred to as Mexi-flush if it is excessively poking out... quite deroggatory as you might guess... lol

I looked up flush and stance on merriam websters online dictionary, and it gave me this link:
