No separate differential fluid since the car has a transaxle. Trans fluid serves both units.
When exchanging trans fluid, the BEST route to take is to be prepared with 10 or 15 quarts. Since drain-and-fill does not get all the fluid out of the system, you must change the ~5 quarts (I believe you're correct on that number) you're able to drain, then drive the car for a few days. Then drain another 5 quarts and fill with 5 more fresh. Then again, if you want. That way you get the most possible old fluid out of the system.Best way to be sure you're filling the correct amount is to measure what you drain. Then refill that amount and, if necessary according to the dipstick reading, top off from there.
Anything Dexron II compatible will work with the 4-speed auto, you don't have to get genuine Nissan fluid. MIGHT be Dexron 3 for the '02 and newer so check your manual to be sure...it'll confirm either way.
