Besides Oil and coolant what other fluids should i change regularly? i have a manual trans. should i always bleed the brakes or is taking the shortcut okay too. thanks

flush brake fluid once a year. If you live in a moist environment like I do, in San Francisco, then you should do it a little more often. remember to change your diff gear oil, and your transmission gear oil as well. They do have different needs, so take that into consideration (transmission gl4, diff gl5).

Newb question....How do you change the transmission oil??

theres many threads on it, but the easiest way is to remove the shifter and pour it in through there. there is a drain at the bottom the the transmission. i think it takes like 2.5 quarts.
