Fluid Question

What kinda fluids do you run on your SR? As in GAS, and I use 5-30Mobile 1Synth.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT run anything less than premium if you like your engine. That's an exageration, but when you spend $2000 on a motor, what's an extra dollar per fill-up...?

A turbo car (especially a modified one) needs as much resistance to knock that you can give it...and premium fuel (higher octane) is less prone to knock than lower grades.

It's harder to burn, but won't detonate as easily...

on the side note, Y does my 89 SOHC engine likes premium 93 when the manual states I can run 87... is it in my head that it idles smoother? or is it possibly carbon deposits over time that requires me to have a higher octane fuel until I can Seafoam it out... or maybe i have the special compression pistons in this engine 9/88 manufacture date. <shrugs>
