Ran over large piece of tire on highway. Now have slow fluid drip from black pvc type line under the passenger side behind wheel well. Only reservoir that looks slightly lower is the PSF. Currently at low temp min level. Is that likely to be what is running thru that line, or might it be windshield fluid?? Any help appreciated.

could be many things....what color is it?

power steering fluid would be dark red as would trans fluid unless its dirty it can look really dark red to black.

coolant of course would be green.

oil would be dark brown to black.

i know on the inside of the fender well there is a fuel line. smell it and make sure you don't have a gas leak.

but only other lines i can think of are p/s.

Thanks for the reply...it is definitely not gas since it has little if any odor. Seems light green which made me think it was coolant but that reservoir doesnt look low at all. dont think oil since not dark or greasey. I was trying to figure out what runs in those lines. There are like three of them in a bracket that travel under the passenger side behind the wheel well. Will be taking to dealer but wanted to have a idea if I would have problem driving for a couple of days first.

yeah the PSF reservoir is the only one that might be a little low since it is at the min line. transmission fluid not in that area?

taste it if its sweet its coolant; but since you said three lines in some sort of bracket that makes me think brake fluid lines maybe?? light green is probly water/coolant though!!maybe heater hoses ?

the lines in the bracket behind the front right wheel....well right above that bracket is the drain hose for the evap and this may be what u are seeing...which is normal when you have the a/c on. it can leave a pretty big puddle but it would look like water
