i finished installing a set of JIC FLT-A2's on my 95 240. the install was very easy, i would recommend installing your own coilovers to anyone who is thinking about it.

they are a lot softer than i had imagined. but i like the feel. adjusting the height and position of the spring perches was a little confusing at first but it ended up working out fine.

i think i am using the 8th hardest setting on the front, and the 5th hardest on the back. right now my rear is about an inch higher than the front, tho i plan on changing this after the alignment. still doesnt seem harsh at all, i will probably stiffen up the front and back a little more.

the only thing that still has me wondering is adjusting the dampening setting, the feel of the clicks can be a little confusing somtimes, and its hard to tell where to start, its not really a clean click at the end, so im not sure if i should start there or start from the first click.

tommorrow im getting an alignment, since i have no camber adjustment pieces on the back, i was thinking of telling them to set the front at its stock extreme, one degree.

Don't change the ride height after the alignment... you will change the overall alignment of the car.

ok, the shop told me it was too low to align. they said even if i get it up on their machine, it would still be too low to align because it bottoms out.

i doubt anyone can help me, but if there is anyone living in the baltimore area, im outside the southwest side of the city, and you know of a place that can align my car, lemme know, thanks!
