Flowmaster 40 series : What'd you think?

Hi,I have a 92 Coupe, bone stock (and no plans for motor swaps ormajor engine upgrades).

I've been thinking of getting a Flowmaster muffler, and a shophas the 40 Series for $89CDN (roughly $60USD).

From what I read, these may be too loud. I don't wantrice-can loud, but just something deep, low and mellow soundingand just not excessively loud.

I figure the 50 Series would cost a little more since not everyoneis carrying the specials.

What should I do?

RUN AWAY! My friend had a flowmaster on his G20. Loud and droney. Get a Magnaflow. Much nicer and quieter and no performance difference.

Hi,That brings up another question. What model of Magnaflow?

I wish the store had the 50 series, butIm gonna call up other shops to see what their 50 Series costs.

Go with the 60 Series. That is the one they made just for imports and V6 engines. Is sounds good though. It has a bassy tone to it.
