Do you still think you would wanna do this? I'm gonna list below what needs to be done.

SAFC2 InstallBoost Gauge WiringAir / Fuel Ratio Gaue WiringFuel Pump InstallIntercooler Piping Cut and welded to proper fitTurbo / Blow off Valve / Wastegate / Manifold / IntercoolerOil Lines

i'd bring it to paragon customs to do a downpipe, they said they would.

what do you guys think? i really dont know anything about installs. im trying to save money by not bringing it to a shop and dropping like 900 on an install.

they didnt call me back, but i know they'll make me a downpipe. other than that, im trying to see what kind of money i can save by not bringing it to a shop and just paying for parts and dyno. $455 is alot for an install if i could actually get people to help me do it for alot less. i'd treat you to some cash and food.

Its pretty straight forward as far as the manifold, turbo, intercooler & fuel pump. the only part that takes some type of knowledge is the intercooler piping to get it to fit right which I am extremely picky about and the electrical work is easy just time consuming

well lets put it this way. i have all the bends, they were mapped out in a guys head back from a local CT shop. i never took note of how he was mapping it out because they were gonna do the install initially, until they overpriced me. so i bought the piping from em, all the bends, with 3 feet of 3" straight pipe. do you think you could figure out how it all goes together?

yeah. I used to do mock up exhaust for choppers all the time last summer. Its not reaally that hard and my neightbor might be able to weld some of the pipes

Well we can do the "cold side" of the intercooler piping for sure in like an hour. But the "hot side" we need to have the manifold and turbo mocked up. So if you want we can put the intercooler and cold side piping and relocate battery on one day. the safc & pump another day. and on a weekend then all we will ahve to do would be put on the mani, turbo, downpipe and oil lines

this actually might work. full sail is only like 10 minutes driving down the road, so i might be able to either get a ride to class and back, or i can always walk. if we did this so that we deffinately get it done in 3 days that would fine. do you know how to do the blow off walve and wastegate? i have no idea.

No what I was saying is we do the install in sections that way your car can still be driveable. For example: Day 1 - mount the intercooler on the the bumper frame and mock up the pipes once we figure how its going to sit and everything. we take a trip to get everything welded. At the same time we relocate the battery and install fuel pump. Your car will still be driveable at this time because nothing is really installed beside battery and pump.

lets say a week later will be Day 2- here we will install the SAFC and try to run most of the wiresetc.,

You kinda see where i'm going with this?

Oh and the BOV and wastegate, I've never done before but we can figure it out

pfff thats a crazy task to figure out. everything else would work though. might be better off doing pump + safc first, then battery and wiring for the gauges. that way i can have the car running right with the new pump.

If you aren't doing anything tomorrow evening we could go ahead and install the pump if you want and the battery is easy as hell too. let me know what you want to do

edit: uhh, hurricane's supposed to pass by tomorrow night aint it? lol.

Actually, I don't think this storm is coming any time soon (my dad said it isn't coming till like monday morning). So we can still do some of the stuff if you want today. Just call me up if you still want to get some stuff done

sunday sounds good. i think me and jeff are gonna do the safc, fuel pump, and battery relocation today. we might map out the intercooler piping too, so sunday we should be good for install. i'll have to talk to him again.

edit: oh and do you know anything about the blow off valve and wastegate placement / install? jeff thinks he can "figure it out," but i dont think it's worth the shot.

Chris you know you still need to get the oil lines and weld the bung onto your oilpan right? And I figured out a nice solution for the battery thing but it might cost you like and extra 25 bucks for parts but it would look alot nicer and hold up better
