This is Floozie - one of the family cats.

There are few things she likes more than a long, warm, flat hood to snooze on. Roofs or rear decks don't cut it - Only hoods will do. I think she likes the smell of warm bug guts on the front grille.

Fortunately, she's a clean cat, and doesn't leave any evidence that she was there (except for the occasional muddy pawprints). Haven't found any hacked-up hairballs or dead bird carcasses on there, either...yet.

I would be a bit angry if one of the wife's cats decided to lay on my car. Lucky you are not getting claw marks.

A flock of wild turkeys, at least 1/2 a dozen I was told, used my hood for warmth one morning this winter in the remote spot I use at work to park away from mean people who don't mind dinging your doors. What was perfect paint now has lots of scratches on the front fenders, hood and bumper. Some buffed out but most are deep enough to expose the white undercoat.

Between two beagles. VV these two rascals, New yorkers, the rich, as well as the occasional wine tasting in my back seat, my Q has officially succumbed to many paint eating/chipping/scratching/carpet munching "gremlins". If I leave ANY kind of food in the car with the windows down i get plentiful scratches by my windows. Hell last fall I came out and was greeted by a squirrel stuffing his face with my dear pistachios I left in my center console. I do find an occasional neighborly cat lying on my hood. The Emazing horse Earl that escapes almost every morning also likes to graze where I park. Animals either love or hate the Q. I haven't figured that out
