So, wife wants to finally upgrade her clunky Kenwood "towers". Looking for some opinions on "best bang for the buck" out there right now. She primarily cares for exceptional mid to highs with good midbass response. Boomy or "too much" bass is a no-go. Probably something like Polk / JBL / Infinity would be appropriate and around $500/pair.
