so i installed a new cat-back on my car today and i realized just how bad my floorboard is. the guy who owned the car before me must've tried to go rock crawling or something because the frame on the left side (driver's) is practically flattened right where the frame stops and the floorboard is pushed up as if a rock had been ran over right about where the floor goes up for the rear seat mount. does anyone have any ideas? sledge hammer? i have no idea how i'm going to fix this. anyone? ideas?

p.s. i'll take pics when i can

He probably just tried jacking the car up by there.

S-chassis frames are like tin cans.

uhh... slipped off?? oh. and gas mileage? uhh. idk. i know i usually get 185-210ish city, but when i hit that i5 to san diego and back i got almost 300 (we're talkin' running the tank to about the bottom line) i thought that was normal... gosh i hope it's not too bad.

Damn, it's crazy how you guys in Cali can actually buy a 240 without seeing the framerail. That's the first place we have to look around here.

yeah we get no rust out here :D

i was thinking about a dent puller. Remove all the undercoating from the rail so the bare metal is exposed then pull away.

my buddy's bodyshop guy said he could fix it with a puller. so i might just try the RRRBFH first? :] and if it fails then i'll go to him. guess i know to check the frame a little better next time i buy a car >.< didnt hardly notice it when i bought it. looked like a small dent. not a squish :[ lessons learned the hard way... fail...

oh.. and...

"we get no rust..." FTW! haha
