Hey guys, my car occasionally floods at startup (KADE) and I was wondering if anything could cause this besides a leaking injector? Also, is there anyway I could tell if it was leaking? I often smell fuel more than I think I should, but I think it may be due to the fact that I have no cat conv. Spark plugs didnt look wet, and its not smoking out the exhaust.

Yesterday my car wouldnt start, just cranked and cranked... I smelled a lot of fuel, will that happen even if the injector seals are good? Normally when my car starts it runs smooth and revs good, but I still smell a little fuel. Fuel pressure is just about 40 at abt 800 rpm, and goes up to 43 with the FPR disconnected so I think thats ok.

BUT the pressure seems to drop off about 10psi within 15-20 mins after I shut it off, and is at 0 within about 90 minutes. Should pressure drop off this fast?

You could have a problem with your coolant temp sensor.Does this problem only happen when the engine is cold?

actually it tends to happen when its hot, if I drive it around then let it sit for a few mins, then try to start it sometimes it floods. CTS is fairly new and ohm'd out ok so it's not that

Are you sure it is not an ignition problem ? You said the plugs didn't look wet.
