wassup guys, quick question. I went over a couple of flooded areas this morning, what areas of my 240 should I look over and check.thx

how deep was it? How high did it get on your car?

well, I would say the water covered 1/3 of my wheels.

hmm, that doesn't seem too bad (depending on if your car is lowered or not). that is probably not high enough to get into the air intake, but it might have splashed around the oil pan and stuff and could have possibly mixed in with the oil. So I would recommend probably changing your oil and checking the brakes (maybe draining/bleeding them cause I had water in the break lines once and I had to replace the whole brake system.) that is all I can think of for now

Brakes are a sealed system, you should not have to bleed them for a trounce over a puddle. However, if you do, use some high quality fluid like Motul and call it an upgrade. Hopefully it was freshwater, with the whole Florida thing, it might have been saltwater if you were down there. In that case, i would wash the hell out of the bottom of the car. I do the same, every time i come back from my beach trip to OBX, NC.
