Again like everyone else i have wiring problems.....sorry....anywho this is the address to my myspace the wires in question are under my pics...its the only way that my camera was letting me post them....but if someone could help by telling me what the blue/red wire needs to be hooked up to that would be cool. it used to be connected to the white dash connector by the ecu before i cut and spliced in the ka connector. and then there is another pic of a plug by the battery that i have nothing to plug into it from my lower harness, its part of the ka body wiring, just wondering if i did something wrong there or not

ok, go to heavy-throttle.com

sr swap faq...follow that for the wiring

if its an 90 240sx....that 4 prong plug may not go where it belongs. there should be a 6 prong plug by your fuse box, and it wont be in use, i think 4 of te wires on it will match the colors of the 4 wires on that one that goes nowhere......you know what to do...join them together again (=

Hmm, those wires look like they should go into the ECU. Have you looked closely at the ecu plug and seen if anything is cut?

hey ca18det240hatch......are you saying that i shouldnt hook those wire that go into the four prong up if they are already in the other plug behind the battery, the ones that were cut and spliced as stated in the swap instrutions.....and its an 89 so same wiring as the 90......and if you could find out for sure if you had the same wires left over

was it auto before?

also....make sure the oval plug with two big wires, that is sitting beside the fuse box is plugged in. Also, can you hear the fuelpump turn on when you turn the key to on?

I have a similar problem with my S14 and CA18. It will turn over all day but will not fire. It's been that way for a couple of weeks and no one has this specific knowledge to help. So I've been buried in wiring diagrams. Good luck.
