flip up dvd in 240sx

will a flip up 7 in in dash dvd player work in a '96 240sx. i have a feeling it wont because the stereo is set in to the dash so it may not open up all the way and hit the upper part where the defroster and flasher buttons are. does anyone have one of these in this car?

I'm not sure about the S14 dash layout but can't you just flip the pocket and the stereo?

I have not tried it but Alpine and Kenwood both offer depth adjustments to help clear dashes. The factory radio brackets could also be modified to move the radio out further in the dash but I don't know how good it would look.
