I swear, I was born to be a politician. I change my mind every ten minutes.
A day after I buy an ad in Autotrader and get serious about selling the Q, my mom changes her mind, saying "You put so much money into it. You have to keep it now." This after "Its so old. You should sell it."
And she made a killer offer. She puts my Q in her name, takes over insurance payments, registration, sales taxes (I had not updated registration or even signed the title since buying it, damn procrastination), and property taxes.
So if insurance and taxes are going to be free... how can I say no?
Inspired by Quella, I was hoping to get my hands on something very similar to this this summer:I was going to get a convertible until I saw this on eBay. That is the perfect body, color (other than green and crimson) and perfect wheels. Everything comes together the way a perfect Q45 should. But I still love mine.
The prospect of saving $170/mo and not having to worry about legal expenses (tax, registration) is hard to pass up. I could take those savings and finally get chain guides done. Maybe buy larger wheels and tires.
Or I could still sell it. And I'd lose out on all of the new parts I bought. What do you guys think?
