flexpipe or not to flexpipe?

so im going to be getting my downpipe along with a lot of other things and im wondering if getting one with the flex joint in it is a good idea.iv heard of alot of peopl having exhaust leaks from the flexy part but iv also heard that its bad not to have one. i need some opinions!!!

if your boosted get one or else your manifold will crack unless you got a cast iron manifold

flex joints are always a good idea... takes away the stress on the manifold like Lonismos14 said (stiffer exhaust bushings help too)... the only reason why my flex joint leaked is cuz it dragged everywhere...

yea thats what im worried about. theres a lot of places around here with huge inclines going into parking lots. i scrape my dd atleast twice a week and its stock ride height.

I just bought some of those exhaust hangers on eBay. Way better deal than other places. Just make sure you get the 12mm diameter hole. If im not mistaken you could used WRX hangers too, same diameter (I think).
