Flex pipe for cracked catalytic converter pipe

Hi, I see they make a flex type repair pipe for cracked catalytic converter pipe. A Nissan converter pipe is $1200. The repair is a short pipe with the braided flex area that is spliced in and clamped in place. About $30. Anyone bought one and done this repair? What flex pipe did you buy? Thx!
