This thing has a mind of its own..I set it the other day to turn on my fan at 195o and it was doing it all day..So i havent driven my car in about 2 weeks and today i was taking my mother to work and im setting in traffic and i happen to look down at my water temp gauge and im slowly moving up in water temp and the fans still not turning on...Well not much i can do about it in the middle of the highway in traffic so i just sit there and watch it go up..So not untill i hit 215o the fans kick on and the water temp goes flying down to 160o in a few seconds..So i pull over at a gas station and set it to the lowest setting. And now they are turning on at 185ish..Anyone else have this problem?

I use an generic remote temp switch because I was having a problem with mine. You can try FAL's customer service but good luck.

The control box has an extra port where you can connect a Switched 12V Source to turn on the fans whenever you want. I noticed my fans were either coming on too early or too late, so I just connected a switch to turn them on when they should come on. Remember, you should have your thermo-probe as close a you can get it to the water neck. Good luck.My Cooling set-up:Koyo Radiator, Dual Flex-a-lite fans w/ control box, Samco Hoses, Thermostat Removed and Coolant w/ Redline Water Wetter. I live in the Desert, I have to keep my Daily Driven SR as cool as possible. Soon to add: Greddy Oil Pan and Oil Cooler w/ remote filter adapter.
