I have 2 questions, i have a busted cooling fan mount and Fan shroud. I was wondering if The Flex A Lite dual fans will cool better, then stock, also does it replace the stock fan shroud?

EDIT: Does A Single row KOYO radiator cool better then a stock 2 row radiator?

the electric fan replacement is usually done so that the parasitic nature of the belt driven fan is lost, freeing some HP.

Elect. fans are usually mounted onto the surface of the rad., thus eliminating the need for the stock shroud, since it's purpose is to funnel the air to the mechanical fan that is farther back than the elect. set up.

Don't know about the Koyo rad.

Another Question, The Flex A Lite Dual 12" Fans say that it is for the SR20DET, is it compatible with the KA24DE?

the fans will work no matter what engine you have. Just make sure you wire them to a seperate 40amp relay and secure them tight to the radiator. I ordered mine from http://www.performancecenter.com and they have been the cheapest ANYWHERE!!! I paid 156 after shipping for TWO 12" fans.
