Flex a lite dual 12" fans question

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

I was looking to get these fans with the koyo rad, but my question is should i get it with or without thermo swtich and what is it used for?

I'd get the thermo switch, it'll allow them to come on at a certain temperature instead of wiring them to a manual switch or wiring them so they run all the time.
