I am considering an Xterra with a 5 speed Automatic and 4 wheel drive as a dingy behind a Class B+ motorhome. We travel in the west as much as we can and a 4X4 like the Xterra would be ideal. Can this be done with something like a Remco driveshaft disconnect or is there a better way. I don't want a standard and would like to avoid the dolly/trailer hassels.Any help would be appreciated. By the way, our other vehicle is a 2006 Murano SL AWD with a touring package. If it were a little more rugged, I would almost try to tow it. I can't hardly pry my wife out of it.

The rear driveshaft needs to be off since there is no neutral setting on the Tcase in 2005+ models.

Does the same thing apply to a Manual Transmission 4x4?
