Hey Guys,

Hoping for some advice. I'll be storing my QX4 for four months this summer. I am concerned about flat spots.

I am running 17" nitrogen filled GoodYr Fortera TripleTred's (awesome tire). I really don't want to jack up my car...(in an earthquake, that car is not going to be too happy). But if I have to, I will.

Will it flat spot in 4 months?...or am I overworrying?

Thanks guys!

4 months is not even bad but you have two choices: 1. Fill the tires to max pressure before leaving (around 50 psi) and let it sit for your trip. When you get back, drive on the max pressure slowly for 10 minutes and then drop the pressures back to normal (30-35 psi). Driving slowly on max pressure works the flat spots out of the tires. 2. Lift the car off the ground with 30-35 psi in all tires and let it hang out suspended in the air while you are gone.
