I have had this image in my head for a while now and what i think my ideal paintjob would be. I just dont know if they make such a thing. I want to start off with a flat ducati grey base because i have fallin in love with it. Then i was wondering if they make a flat red paint also. If so i was thinking of a tasteful flame job over the grey with the red. Then comes the tricky part. Paint over the flat red with a gloss red so that it appears the flat red is the shadow of the gloss. And then underneath the gloss red would be gloss grey flames. If someone could let me know if this sounds possible/cool or whatever lemme know. If there is enough interest i will photoshop a pic to do justice to what i am saying.

Thats harsh man, it may not be to your liking but everyone has their own taste.

deez1001- maybe some examples of paint and design(images?) would give us a better idea of what you are talking about and spark more helpful input.

I would have to see it to make a final judgement, but from the way it sounds, it's pretty honda-esque. Until I see it, I stand by my previous statement.

If you go with a solid flat color, like black or grey, its easier to touch up when you slide off the road into some trees. Its almost guaranteed to match and its easier to paint.
