hey has anyone ordered from flashoptions and actually gotten any results? i ordered my freakin engine on the 27th of january and i still haven't seen a speck of it. they just keep giving me a run around, "be patient" "your engine is there, has customs called you?", crap like that. i think customs would've sent me a letter by now if it was in the port for the past 2 months and nobody came to pick it up. they can't even tell me who they are using for their shipping .:help something says i just pissed away a bunch of money on a clip that i'll never see. anyways i just wanted to see if anyone has seen the fruits of their labor. thanks

Almost 6 months is waaaay too long to get your engine. Sorry, I hope everything turns out alright but I would continue to lean on them hard.

They delivered a nice looking clip to a dude named brent a long while ago. Press the search button and type flash options, you will get a bunch of threads dealing with them.

BTW, alot of the engine suppliers i have talked to recently say that it is getting ALOT harder to get motors though customs.

thanks. ya i started asking for my money and they said it was going to be in LA. we'll see i guess. i was just looking for a ray of hope in my bleek looking situation. what would be the best way to make sure my engine doesn't get distroyed by customs.

Man... this is too funny (not your situation Scarecrow... that sucks), but the Flash Options guy came here promising such great engines for sooooo cheap. He gave us all a bunch of flack for not trusting them, promised to deliver great engines in a short time frame.... etc etc etc. Then... the first guy to get an SR from them said it was junk and sent it back. They said they'd have him a new and perfect engine in a month. That customer never reported back. So, not only did they send a crappy engine as their first ambassador of good will... but now they're not even getting people engines at all? Wow... looks like all the skeptics and 'haters' were right!!! wooo hooo!

I'm sorry to hear that you got shafted scarecrow.... if you had been hanging out here and researched before you purchased... perhaps you could have avoided this mess. I'd try to get my money back at all costs.. I have yet to hear ANY positive feedback about Flash Options.... period.

I was going to order a whole front skyline clip from them, one of my friends here at work says he knows them and always order his engines from them. He should be at work tomarro I'll talk to him about it and I'll let you know what he says.

If memory serves a couple of PPL got engines/clips.One guy got what the other guy had ordered and vice versa and they had a big hassle to untie that knot, but I think some members got hooked up with some free stuff in exchange for problems.

most engines had delays, but a lot of engine importers are having delays these days at customs.

PS: Brents english was waaay to good to be the same as the FO order guys, I dont think Brent is/was a ringer.I also compared their IP's as well, just to make sure (being an admin gives me access to all posters IP's) and Brent's IP didn't match FO's IP.
