Well, There is a problem with flashoptions after all. My engine didnt come complete.

So far parts that are missing:Intercooler pipeingFan shroud

Well today my car was suppose to be done, but today i got a call... told me that the engine didnt come with the intercooler pipeing for the stock intercooler. Ive e-mailed flashoptions NUMERIOUS times and still no reply.

I now have changed my mind about Flashoptions. Not only did i wait 6 MONTHS to get my motor.... IT CAME INCOMPLETE. They gave me **** i didnt need instead of the stuff i needed.

If anyone has the intercooler pipeing that i can get off them plz lemme know a.s.a.p... Car is down and i need it runnin.

Untill i get my stuff from flashoptions..... I wouldnt recommend gettn an engine from them.

my sr didnt come with a FAN shroud either, and I got mine from another co. I upgraded to electric fans though. Sorry to hear about no intercooler piping. try ebay you can get the stock piping for relatively cheap. There is a 12 hour time difference, that's probably why they havent gotten back to you. Also try calling them at 9pm our time (9am there time), they should refund you some money back for all this aggravation.

PS. Too bad you cant just upgrade to FMIC now...

Implicit:I am sorry to hear that.

Hopefully you will be able to pick up somecheaply (no sense waiting for them to send some). You should have them send u some money for what the piping costs. It must be very agrravating to think your car will be done and then its not.

How does the engine look otherwise?

Fred...:)

Was it rusty on the inside or just the outside?

Sorry to hear that, my clip came with a smashed IC/piping and luckily the company I got it from sent it to me within 2 days (just had to pay for shipping). There's really nothing you can say in FO's defense if they don't replace it, but considering how much you'll have to wait, you might as well end up buying a set of piping. I remember a post on Fresh Alloy where somebody was selling the entire stock SMIC setup for $100. Good luck to ya.

Well if they open their Georgia store you could probably get stuff from there for free, but thats a months wait. At least you can drive there, they wanted my friend and I to drive across the US for some "goodie bags."

You were like one of 2 people who actually stood up for FO and said you had a good experience.... at least some greasy floormats and a $45 BOV will make up for the inconvience and they $200 IC settup that's crap.

Paul

Talk to Heavy Throttle for missing parts or Ebay. I think Kenjuku also has some stuff like that laying around his shop as well.

IM suprised Flash Options hasnt already gotten on this thread to defend themselves . . . .

usually after someone post about some bad deal they had with them, Flashoptions gets on and tries to reexplain the whole thing and defend themselves. . . . maybe I should wait a few more posts to see . . . .

Sorry you had a bad experience. Thanks for keeping us up to date on how it's going. I wish you well dude. Give us an email address so we can send you info if we find a SMIC or the piping you need.

My son's friend ordered and paid for a B16a clip from flash options back in March. He finally got a bill of laiding indicating the clip was shipped on 14 September. Only problem is the bill of laiding says he's got an SR20DET clip coming. Too friggin' funny. This company is such a joke. I know some people have actually received their clips but how many have been through months of total B.S.

Another reason why (you'll notice) they're not an advertiser on NICO.
