I have a 06 350z roadster, and with the top closed and SURE its closed I get the flashing light that says its not closed. If I push up on the handle then it stops flashing till I hit a bump..:) So my question is, Is it the sensor or the handle, and what would the cost be to fix?

To me it sounds exactly like an issue with a sensor of some sort; a good connection is made when you put the top up and then when you hit the bump the connection is broken or loosens just enough to trip the light. If you want to try and troubleshoot it on your own you should take a look at the FSM.

I've got no idea what the repair cost might be though. Impossible to really know without knowing exactly what's wrong. Keep us posted on what you find out though, knit too many vert owners here but your discovery can always help the next owner with a similar issue.

Just go into the roadster section and select the 2004 FSM. The section titled RF covers the convertible top, but my recommendation is to download all the sections so you have them on hand if/when you need them.
