why is the security light always flashing on my car? is there a way to disconnec the alarm or delete oit or fix it?

close all doors hood/hatch and see if it's flashing inside. If everything is shut and it's armed it should be solid orange.

Mine did the same thing, for me it was the hood wasn't shutting all the way. If it's the hood try pressing down on it on the right side where the button catches the hood and see if it goes out. You can pull the alarm fuse up front but then you won't have interior lights.

I adjusted my hood latch a little but it still didn't fix it completely, so I applied some jb wield to the underside of the hood where the button touches the hood. And that helped keep the hood sensor down.

If it's flashing it means there's a door or something open, my guess it's the hood. Do you have a gap up there, I've seen a lot that do since I looked around on these cars.
