flashing lights

i was driving on the highway,put on my cruise and the ebrake light anti lock light and low battery charge started flashing. i filled the gas tank ten minutes before and heard a clunck as i pulled out of the gas station ,but thought little of it at the time. any ideas ?

The lights you mention all indicate a low voltage condition. Perhaps the clunk you heard was the belt breaking? If the belt is missing, check the idler pully... beaing failure is not uncommon and will seize if the howling noise is ignored.

sure as shirt the tensioner pulley fell apart, the belt remained intact tho damaged
