Hey Guys,I recently disconnected my battery to replace my headlight bulbs. Now my airbag light is flashing constantly. I've looked through the maintenance records that came with the car (I bought it used rfom Texas in January) and noticed that this has happened in the past. The tech said he tested the system, reset it and the problem didn't recur. Does anyone know what might be causing this and how/if I could 'reset' the system?

Thanks very much!Randy 98 Q45t

Take it to dealer for a Consult test or follow the instructions for diagnosis in service manual [section BF]........there are 8 separate codes on 90-93.

When the light is on the airbag/bags is not armed! and will not work.

Any car in a collision can be iffy forever.

Thanks for the insight, Q45Tech. I just found out that I have a service manual coming to me the hard way...a buddy's (the fellow who recommended I get my '90 Q ) '91 Q just lunched it's transmission. He's selling it to our local independant Infiniti shop rather than pay for the repair, and passing his manual along to me. I'm grateful; but hate to see him losing a car he is so fond of.
