Does anyone know if Flash options is a trustworthy dealer or if it would be better off to pay more and go with Unstable Hybrids or Heavy Throttle?? Please let me know something if you have had experience with them. Thanx in advance for any and all info that you can provide. Laterz.

You should try searching here and try at 240sxforums.com because a few people there have gotten clips from them there. I think most people you talk to will advise agaisn't going iwth Flasdh Options since they are overseas and I think a few people are having trouble with customs.

I ordered S14 front clip from Flashoptions and I'm having a little problem w/ state. They asked bunch of questions like what am I going to do w/ that engine and if it's DOT aprrove. And they told me I have to do some paper work. I still didn't get it yet, but I might pick it up tomorrow. I'm not sure if I can pick it up tomorrow. I have to go there and see what's going on.

His state problem is that the port wont release his clip until he fills out that EPA form on the other thread. Im not sure how some people ordered from flash options and didnt have to fill out this form. But right now there are a couple members on this board whos clips from FO are sitting in ports and unless they do the paperwork properly, the products will be destroyed. This is the dirty little side that FO not only doesnt tell you but just straight out doesnt know about. Also since they are out of the country, if these clips were destroyed it would be pretty hard to get them to pay back the money or complain about them. So far the only advice given by multiple sources (including the port), is to hire a bondsman to write up the paperwork in hopes of getting it cleared for pick up.

I hired someone to do some paper work and he's going to take care of everything. I paid $180 for doing that stuff. It's kind of pricy but that was the cheapest way I found. It took me some time to find that guy. I called bunch of companies who does that kindda stuff.

thats why its sometimes better to buy an engine that is already in the states. but i hope you get your conflict resolved. shaun
