Anyone know what the small rubber "flap" is for in front of the rear wheels on a 2015 Q70L is for. I understand mud flaps behind the front and rear wheels but this one has me curious. Recently one of the push pins that secures one side of this device has come out of both L and R sides. I got replacement pins from Auto Zone and reinstalled but can't figure out what these are for. Thanks for any input.

Hey Bugman! They're simply wind splitters, to direct air around the tires. It's an aerodynamic thing, and allegedly reduces some noise as well.

What AZ said. Those little pins are notorious, I've lost one or two in my 5 years owning my 2011 as well.

I took mine off when I was installing side splitters
