Flanging exhaust pipe?

Its not what you think...lol

After careful inspection of the gap between the cat and the headers, I found the solution to my problem. I need a 1' piece of pipe that has a regular bolt-on bracket welded on one end and the other end flanged out one inch long with a loose bolt-on bracket sliding around that end. I'll try to make a bitmap image roughly sketching this out.

Now all i gotta do is figure out how to get the pipe piece flanged and where to buy the bracket to weld to it and the loose bracket to fit around it. Its some frankenstien sh it, but it might just do the job.

perhaps chrome IC piping?

not that I need it, the bird needs other stuff more then a new IC setup right now, well, ok not that much more:D

widening the product line is never a bad idea right?

It would be awesome if the flange could match a more rounded curve, similar to the stupid bulb i have on the end of my headers...cilck my sig for the pics of "the gap". Ill give exact measurements tomorrow hitman. I wish you were easier to get a hold of...

Edit: Do I need to break out the protractor for this?

coming out of the trunk... lol

can you make one of those exausts JDM style that stick strait up 3 or 4 feet after exiting the rear of the car... that whould be sweeet
