the down pipe from the sr's and ca's are different how? i mean if i drop $200 bones on the tanabe joint with the egt bung am i just better off drilling a hole for the egt gauge in the ebay down pipe i've got now...which incedently fits kinda lumpy and very close to the floorpan (for $89 bucks, shouldn't complain)oh and i should say, i was gonna buy the tanabe cause i put one of their exhausts on my girlfriends car and it's mad hot, yo! so, i was just gonna replace the fujitsubo/ebay melody makers i've got now...please help with my decision to spend yet more sticks on my flogged steed! Peace, ca peoples!!!

you may need to rotate the cat flange slightly.

realistically, yeah, the only difference is flange angle.

you can go with either both CA dump and downpipe, or both SR and it will be all good, all bolton. if you mix em, you will probably have to cut and reweld teh flange (like TMS said)

..... my aunt makes teh best apple pie ever, but you have to eat it with ben&jerrys vanilla bean ice cream (sometime soon, they should be able to start making icecream again. They were bought out and the contract said they cant make ice cream and sell it for 7 years.... that has to be close to up.

if you put a EGT sensor in your down pipe you need to have some sense slapped into yourself.

EGT probes should be in the turbo mani, preferabally at the collector.

yeah, i did think that was a little strange, i always kinda figured they went in the manifold, but man would that be preferable to removing the manifold again, that's one experience i'd like to put behind me forever. i never did find that one nut. just one question, the collector is where all the runners converge into one just before the exhaust connects to the turbo, right? thanks peoples, ca forum cold rocks!!

I was always under the impression you put it on the runner for the cylinder that typically runs the leanest. On the CA, that would be cyl #3.

i always put them on the runner farthest away from the water neck. 4th cylinder is normally hotter.
