I have been reading these posts for a while and have noticed that the people on this forum (Not all of you but I have noticed alot of you) have egos that wouldn't fit in the astro dome!
People come here and ask questions first response is Search! Yeah thats geat suppose they did and they werent the GODS OF THE INTERNET you are and they just needed a little help.
You refer to people as ricers. WHY??? How the hell is it your business if they want to do something you dont agreee with. ITS THEIR CAR!! I may not want it on mine but its theirs. Stand back look at it and appreciatte the work they have done on it to make it unique to them or the way they want it! GET OVER IT!
I very rarely post anything when I do I find myself being definsive do to the way you guys answer other posts. I dont blame them for reply back when you flame them calling you an idiot face facts.

I know positively that no one will care that I am no longer going to cruise the forum, But let this be said if I leave today and it goes in vain you will not have anyone coming here to post other than the original ***holes that know everything anyway.

seriously man, in respect to the ricers comment; sure they can do anything they want to their cars, and it's also anyone elses right to express their opinion about it. the only people who truly get flamed are people who post the usual stupid BS first post, like "what can my stock 240 beat in a race?" or "i wanna put a skyline engine in my 240, list all of the places i can buy an engine", and those types of questions have been answered over and over again and the answers can be easily found if you search back a little bit.

WOW! I'm so sorry to hear that you had such an experience... and J-Spec it absolutely right.... we are the most "noob" friendly forum out there... you'll see when you go to the other forums and ask those questions..
The SEARCH reply is always by me and I stick by it! every noob should search for questions before they post... that is the law and everyone has to follow it or they will be reminded of it.

I say this with the most respect possible.If you dont like they way a NICO member acts, screw them. You owe them absolutely nothing. Stay around here. The only way this situation will change is with your POSITIVE input. There is so much info here that you're the only person who suffers from your absence. Do you think these guys will be crying if you leave? I doubt it.
Let me also say that I disagree with the way you approached this situation. It doesnt sound like youre looking for a solution, but rather making a poor attempt at upsetting the NICO community.

Did I really just waste 5 minutes reading this tripe? The way you are approaching this problem needs examination, if you had compared NICO to other forums you'd have easily seen that while we have our share of a-holes (Yeah, just go ahead and consider me one of em') we are also very friendly and helpful to new people, ESPECIALLY when they show an ounce of intelligence and at least make an attempt to do some research before posting a question. Oh, and just because I posted something particularly tasty in another thread that relates to your comments about "It's their car" etc. in reference to ricers, I give you this: "I don't care if it's his car, I have too look at the **** still and that just ain't right. I can make a direct comparison between these two statements: "It's his car and money, hence he can do what he wants with it" and "It's his gun and bullets, he can shoot who he wants with it." How you might ask? Simple: both cause pain, discomfort, annoyance etc. but yet both things ARE owned by him, the clear's and the gun/bullets in my example. While there is a difference in degree of pain, discomfort, and annoyance caused, both of them still do the same thing. Hence, the statement "he can do what he wants to his car with his money", is a rather short-sighted one."
I hope that you re-think your decision and in the future give NICO another chance, it can be a very rewarding forum if you just do a little research and exhibit a grain or two of intelligence.

seriously, what many people don't understand is that in all communities, u have all kinds of people. look at ur own neighborhood, for instance. i'm sure u can find an a$$hole somewhere. now, take that same community and multiply it by the whole enitre world, and u've got a lil something i like to call: the internet. u know what that means? greater potential for find a$$holes, or simply those whose methods u do not agree with/approve of. fine, some people don't act as though they should. perhaps, if this world we lived in was ideal, they would. but it's not, so there u go. as was alighted to earlier, u can't control the actions of others, but u can control ur own. with that in mind, do what u can to be that shining example of a member of this NICO community. don't get up on ur soap box and make some grand, dramatic speech like ur running for office or something. what it looks like is a pathetic attempt to capture some attention. it may work, but i'm sure the results are undesirable. if u really wanna be taken seriously, then do like i see some of our moderators do and lead by example. no grandiose posts about the ills of the world, no "this sux, that sux", none of that crap. just plain and simply posting and behaving accordingly.

I think the important thing to realize is that this forum is performance oriented. It gets irritating when people that have been on this board, see posts daily or weekly about where to find clear tail lights, or stuff like "hi, i'm 12 but i want to do an sr swap, how much does it cost?" The same silly posts are made every day, and if people searched a little bit, it would be much easier on everyone. There is SOOO much info on NICO now that i hardly ever need to post to find the answer to a question, i can just search. so keep that in mind before you criticize people for getting irritated with the same questions and people responding to search.

yea, i would like the last 5 minutes of my life back please. the thing that came to mind while reading that stupid little rant, was the fact that he has 4 posts. i dont konw about u guys, but i think post count can dictate whether or not someone knows what they are talking about or not. then theres 1der who only posts in general mostly, but he doesnt try to tell people how to set up a wideband o2 sensor, and hes funny as hell
