Ok I'm sorry and Ive search for oooh about 3 years now .... I'm sure I will get the hottest flame ever for this post as well as no info (Im jaded what can I say) Now to the point. Customs? I have spoken to customs agents endlessly trying to get a JDM car into the US. I'm not worried about getting it registered, not selling them etc. Its become somewhat of a personal fight to figure this out. I have seen the forms but what am I missing? How do you not get the container scanned or opened and if that does happen not get your car seized forever. I would love to try it but don't want my money sitting on a dock forever with no hope of bringing it home. Well my fellow Nico members flame on.

Find a snakehead and have the car boxed up with some boatpeople. They make it through all the time.

Thanks for the link but I am mainly referring to people like "Clem" that seem to do this kind of thing often etc.

Thanks again.

Simple. They're shady, and always in danger of losing a container to Customs.

When they do, which is admittedly rare, they already have enough deposit $ to cover it, and they scurry off and regroup - some change their business name, some absorb the hit and come back more aggressive.

Some just have the hook up and get it done.
