new to the 240sx arena, although I've been following these cars for about 8 yers now! damn i can't believe how time flies... welp I finally got my hands on one....... and its a big time fixer upper, but I only paid a thousand for it.........

its a 1990 auto.................... needs paint,,, interior is pretty nice cept a dash crack.

I found out after I bought it, that it got hit real good on the driver side, my dumbass only looked under the right side when I checked it out... so the frame rail and lower radiator support are banged up pretty bad. The strut is moved in slightly....

I got it over at the body shop right now trying to get her squared up.... hopefully it will come out good, I just really hope they can get the suspension back to the right measurements.....

I bought some Megan springs and AGX struts that are going to go on it when it gets back.... I bought a new radiator and rigged up an E-fan for it. Also got some of those ebay halo non pop-up lights for it..... yeah yeah yeah flame suit is on........ one headlight didn't pop open and I never really been a fan of the pop-ups because quite frankly the lighting sucks balls. These ebay lights look pretty nice though, I can't wait to see them on the car!

I have a spare DOHC engine and quite a few trannies laying around, I might swap in the DOHC, defintely want to put in a 5 speed, I stripped a hicas car and got a lot of parts off of it for the swap... the VLSD is in my brother's hatch tho..........

I'd like to turbo this pos, get some more suspension tidbits(ruca's, tension rods, traction rods, solid rear subframe bushings, and swaybars... then i'm probably about done with the suspension. I'd also like to upgrade brakes/wheels in the future..........

my brother has a 92/93? hatch, pictured..... he's got a LT-1 that he wants to put in it.... Built LT-1 with a 200 shot....... so I'll have his motor for a spare as well if I ever do the DOHC swap.

yeah I love working on my car...........

i'm gonna probably spray can paint it.... I already did it to the roof but it looks like *** so it needs some wet sanding and more paint!

you can really see how bad the paint is compared to my brother's car.... his clear is comming off some places, we always thought his paint was bad.... my car makes his look like a show car LOL

I missed the last meet, I wanted to go badly, and I'll miss this next one because I'll be up in cincinnati that weekend..... too bad we don't have any other meets for the 240sx's...........

last time I saw a bunch of 240sx's lined up was at Nopi nat's a few years back, that was pretty cool, in one line was every damn conversion you could do to them including engine swaps, from a S14/R33 front end to a Sileighty with the aero bumper(I love that bumper).......

welp I'm just chatting like a little girl, I'm pretty bored with my car stuck over at the body shop and nothing to do............. Especially with 600 dollars worth of parts just sitting here in boxes and all I can do is kick at the boxes..........

you asked to late, I used to have a 96 ext cab 4x4 chevy that I traded for a SHO and 1500 bucks! I had new mud terrain tires on it and all.... I defintely woulda traded it for a nice 240sx!

then I ended up fixing so much with the SHO that I just took a loss and got rid of it!!!

it never was as fast as my old SHO either.... I had good times with that one..... who would think a 4 door Taurus would blow the doors off 2001 Mustang GT's at 120mph hehe........ or top out at 150mph!!! then the headgasket blew........

I had one for free but some how water got into the transmission so I'm not going to waste my time on it. But I guess I could still use the bell housing off of it.

isn't a z32 transmission completely different? the bellhousings won't swap

KA's, CA's, SR's, and Z31 non turbo's use the same style transmission, I got like 5 of em sitting around with various bellhousings........

my dad owns a transmission shop!

I've been stock piling, I got a whole room of a diff, 5 speed swap stuff, radiatiors, DE engine, and trannies!!

Yes a Z32 transmission is different that's why you need the bell housing to send away to get an adapter kit to bolt up to the SR. Mazworx ftmfw.

Ok so im serious this time, car is for SALE!!

Need this car gone, I just got my liscense suspended and I can no longer afford to get pulled over. If you know me you know what this thing has into it, alot of blood and sweat. Im asking $8000, which is definatly way less than what I have into it.

For those of you that havent seen it...

It is a off white/ bone colored 1989 240sx Coupe w/ an sr20det redtop in it. I bought the front clip almost a year ago and did the swap with acouple of buddies of mine. The car over the years has gone through many changes to make it more and more fun.

As it now sits it has a rebuilt sr20det, with a gt28, greddy vspl front mount, blitz dd bov, buddy club lightweight battery, exedy clutch, s14 vlsd, 5lug all around, s14 bronze se rims, tien lowering springs on blue shocks, and r32 4pot front calipers. The interor is in pretty good shape, new dash no cracks, s14 front and rear seats, alpine cd player, hud.... other cools things too just cant think of all of them now.
