I have on idea why people upgrade fpr's. I mean my car and my friend Tim's(The Punisher 543HP) have stock fuel rail and fpr's.

i upgraded FPR because my stock FPR was taking a dump, and its nice to be able to fine tune fuel pressure to get that PERFECT afr at wot. with the mgs13, i made 312whp at 18psi, stock long block, injectors and ecu, just upgraded turbo, fmic, full exhaust and FPR, the FPR allowed me to fine tune my fuel pressure to get 11.75 AFR at WOT in 3rd and 4th gear... once i got teh z32 maf, SAFC II and 550cc injectors in the car after it was sold to my cousin kevin, It made 318whp at 14psi... a VAST improvement.. then we upped it to 20psi, and made 352whp and 328whp.... then ran the below mentioned time at the track with me driving... thats why I personally did adjustable FPR... to make over 300whp on stock injectors, to prove a point to many disbeilievers on the forums...

I'm not gonna lie man those are some very impressive #'s with that list ...but didnt you have a ported compressor housing? how much did that help out/ improve your time and #'s...so your saying because you had your a/f ratio absolutely perfect at w.o.t. with that afpr you made over 300rwh on stock injectors? what if you had perfect a/f ratio without that afr would you still make over 300rwh? Thats why i upgraded to my sard afpr by the way too...mine went bad

I'm not going, my car is running I just have to do the rest of my research so I can start ordering the upgrades tomorrow. Hey Alex can you take some pics of your cams and measurements? I want to know for a fact that I currently have 264 step ones.

JR thats kind of funny because i was actually just about to ask you if you are absolutey sure you have step1 264's..they max out at about 390-400 horse and i know your making #'s over that...let me go take pictures and i'll come back..but unless you can remember exactly what your cams look like they are gonna look pretty much the same as any other cam..brb

I can't remember what they looked like at all.But they will be out soon.The guy who put them in doesn't work for XAT he moved outta state otherwise id ask him.

Here they are...notice in the first pic it says 264 and then EX for exhaust..Notice in the second pic you can see the width of the cam lobe above the top of the camshaft itself and the height of the cam lobe from the top of the camshaft..and the third picture is another good shot of the cam lobe size...what i think you have JR, are HKS step2 264 camshafts which require aftermarket valvesprings due to the higher lift than step1's..the step1's that i have use a lift of 10.5mm on the intake side and 10mm on the exhaust..step2's which im pretty sure you have, use a lift of 12mm on the intake side and 11.5mm on the exhaust side..i dont think XAT wouldve upgraded your springs if the cams they put in didnt even call for them..

Oh XAT didnt put them in? well they installed your aftermarket valvesprings correct? what cams did they put in with those? also the cams you are running right now..did you order them yourself?

XAT does everything on my car. The guy worked at XAT but moved and hes the one who would know for sure what cams I have. They where ordered so long ago I cant remember what the hell they are.

Well if he worked for XAT then he knows what valvetrain your running which means he knows you have upgraded valvesprings and retainers..therefore he wouldnt put in step1's that dont require an aftermarket valvetrain..I'd put my money on it that you are running 264's step2's

hey jr so cars running now that is weird sounds like a semsor now or wiring problem weird and about the manifold no worrys its gona be a long *** time till i buy anything else for this car all i wanted was to fix my smiking problem the car needs to be TUNE like really bad runs good but not good enough so thast that just an update my car is just as fast if not a little slower than ERIKS and erik has a t25 his car is pretty deam fast bow down to erik
