FL drifters

hey, i just moved to daytona beach from nashville, tn. there aren't any ****ing places to drift around here. just wondering if there were any nissan guys around here. im going to the ocala drift event on the 20th. just wondering if there was anyone around in the surrounding area like orlando or jacksonville. peace

I was drifiting in daytona saturday night. The big plaza right before DBCC very nice wide open parking lot. Was there at about 10:30. 4 cars wer going to razzles and molley brown's for my friends 18th b-day. We got split up and were meeting at the bank there. I couldn't resist being the lot was so open and i had my stock tires back on. Watch out the cops in daytona are pretty bad. Friend has gotten 6 tickets there in the past month. I live in Deland not many spots here. Trying to get out to Orange City this Thursday where there is a big car meet. There's about 6 240's there now. 3 are friends from deltona and they now some good drift spots. 2 of them there are sr20's.

where in deland is the meet? i live right off of beville and ridgewood. whats dbcc? 6 tickets for what? speeding? i have yet to see a cop give anyone a ticket.

I live in Palatka, its about 45 minutes from daytona beach. There are several wide open spaces here to have fun on to your hearts desire. There is even an old airport that is no longer in use and is now used as a public back road!! Huge area there! Several others. and the cops here are generally laid back as long as you stay off the main roads and keep an eye out!

where is palatka? sounds like fun. do you guys meet up on the weekends? dori dori hope to see you there. people in daytona are ****ing pricks. i was just at advanced buying some rear rotors and the guy that workd there had a 91 couple like me with some old advan wheels and a kinda ricey kit, but that aside i was just trying to talk to him if there where any local clubs and **** and about his car and he was all ****ing rude and ****. oh well. are there lots of import junkyards in orlando or jacksonville? im looking for a j30 limited slip. also, does anyone know about the expoxy you can put in your worn motormounts to stiffen them up? i just heard about it and was wondering if anyone has tried? i need a front right motormount so if anyone has one for sale hit me up.

He got a ticket for street racing. 2 speeding tickets. Tag light out. Seatbelt ticket(took it off when the cop was at the door to ge this wallet) and one for something else. I'll call me friend in O.C. to get a street name.

I beleive it is Saxon and 17-92. It's in the plaza with Kmart and a movie theatre. It's about a mile off of I-4. I think it starts at 8:30. We never usually show up till after 9 just because then we know there's a good amount of people there. It's a bunch of different clubs with wide range of cars. Got some lowriders, very nice tuned imports, old muscle, and of course your good old Hondas with the mile high wing. If your goign to come be careful bcause cops sit and wait for us coming in. Not to bad usually. The are around the area after 10pm cuz that seems like a good time for most people to go race. I've never had any problem with them.

Palatka is dead center of Jacksonville, Daytona, Orlando, Ocala, Tampa, and a couple other big ciities. Its on the map now that we got ourselves a super wal-mart lol. Where are you coming from, ill give you directions!

Which old airport? If you're talking about to one in Deland real easy to get to. Don't know much about. Kniw lot of people have raced there, and have also known that there has been quite a few caught there.

It's on Saxon and Enterprise The K-mart and theres a movie theatre, Also theres a blockbuster. Along with a bunch of small stores

i used to drift around here, but i can no longer drift as i sold my S13 and got a 200sx SER somtimes front wheel drive sucks.. oh well.. once i get the money ill have yet another S13.. but just go drive around there are places to drift it just takes some time to find them.. and neborhoods ARE NOT drifting areas

I think I may have discovered a nice little drift spot today. It's in the middle of house. On my way home i a rush i see one of those signs meaning curvy road and says 20mph and the road was wide. Going to check it out tonight. If you lose control you'd hit a tree that lines the road and never make it close to the houses. Got quite a few roads that turn into 2 lane with middle turn lane perfct but nothing to set up combos.

I really dont know where to drift in Orlando. When its wet you can slide in the neighborhoods here and there.
