Does anyone know where i can go to fix up my 1997 Infiniti J30? I recently purchased a set of 18' SSR Rims, and now, i want to upgrade my brake system, but it has really been pain in the ***. I also want to lower my car too, so that the rims would looks little bit better, but i have gone to many many fixed up stores and they told me that they do not carry any parts for my car. All Infiniti J30 lovers out there, please help me out. I live in LA, so any recommendation of the shops around LA would be Best.

Thanks

:ylsuper

DiamondJ30,

How were you able to change the muffler? I been to few shops and asked them they side that they cant do it. Second, did you only got the rotor, or the entire brake system? My friend was able to find the factory that makes brembo rotor to custom make one for me, but not the system, which means the same size rotor as the facotry. I want something bigger. Overall, i have to give it up to you, that is one good look J30.

i use porterfield brakes.r4-s carbonkevlar pads, porterfield stainless brake lines, porterfield rotors..minimal dust-no squeal-never got mine to fade yet.go to porterfield-brakes.com.......you wont need bigger with these.although ive heard of people going though a hole pad on a race day.but not in a j30.:ylsuper.....measured the oem muff and looked for replacement, then cats, and 15"glass packs to calm it down.find a independent muffler shop.a few of use changed are whole systems here.look at the adds on the page that change up top.there is a b.r.m.racing.they may be able to build and nship badass new exhaust.
