So the weather is becoming near perfect in the northeast and its times i fixed up the previous owners wrong doings to my V. He backed out of his garage and scraped the plastic bumper against a trash can leaving cut like marks in the plastic. You can see through the paint in those areas to the under laying white plastic. Also I dont know how he managed this but on the rear passengers door there are parallel scratch marks as if he drove up against something. This part is the door so metal? Also next to this door on the trim I've got some rust going. I would love to get some input from the body work experts on the forum on some proper techniques to fix these different problem areas. What sandpapers if any...paint...primers? Even anywhere to get the paints other than the dreaded dealer.

P.S. the V is jet black. If it is helpful I can take pics and post them on this thread.

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows their shiznit

If the rear bumper is scuff through the paint, primer, down to the plastic. You can use an epoxy to fill it in. I am not an expert at body work, but I'd say use a 1000 grit at first and sand it to 2000 grit. Primer it and paint it. Paint can probably be bought at a local paint supply store. I'd check the local yellow pages and talk it over with them. My local store guys are really helpful anytime I have some dumb questions.

The others sounds like they might need some body filler, paint, primer, and paint.
