Oh ya its my daily driver and i will occasionally race it once in a while. If i do lowering springs i dont want my car to bounce all around when i go over the simplest bumps too

Coilovers are springs and dampers all in one package. The ARE the struts and springs if you will. If you use lowering springs, stock struts can be used, but only if they are still good, and only if the springs are stock spring rates. If you go with stiffer springs, you should buy aftermarket shocks.
