I have been pondering gettin a BOV to help ease the burden on the turbo but i hear that with the mafs, open air venting would cause some stalling/poor idling. I would rather vent it to the open air b/c it seems to me that under high boost, rerouting to the intake wouldn't get the job done as quickly plus the noise is just crazy! My question is...could you tune your car away from this problem with say...a s-afc from apexi or a similar product?

You only get a bad idle if you buy a diaphram type BOV, if its a piston typre then they don't leak at idle.

hey, i too had these questions about a BOV, but when i installed my turboXS type 34h i tried to recirculate it and im just to impatient to tune it !! so the car ran really crappy. well then i let it run open aired ! well i was always reading about stalling and poor idle, but mine hasnt stalled yet and my idle is a bit too high maybe thats why, but other then the every once in a while backfire after it blows off its, nothing really negative at all running it like this, just only i wish i would have gotten the turboXS RFL .
